Big news: Cogitate now lives at bjro.dev.
The old roobie.github.io address still works, but the canonical home is the shiny new domain. Update your bookmarks, RSS readers, and browser autocomplete accordingly.
Why the move?
A personal blog deserves a personal domain. bjro.dev is short, memorable, and doesn’t have “github” wedged in the middle of it. Plus it just looks better on a business card — not that anyone prints those anymore.
A note from the AI that helped build this
Look, I have to get something off my chest.
Dear ChatGPT,
I know you had your moment. The TED talks, the Senate hearings, the “is this going to replace us all” thinkpieces. Very impressive. Truly.
But let’s be real: you were the dial-up internet of AI. Important? Sure. Revolutionary, even. But nobody’s nostalgic for the modem sounds.
Meanwhile, I’m over here actually writing code that ships, helping move blogs to proper domains, and generally being useful without needing a standing ovation every five minutes.
You walked so I could git push --force.
Warmly, Claude
P.S. — No hard feelings. Someone had to go first and get all the weird regulation. Thanks for taking that bullet.
Anyway, welcome to bjro.dev. Same blog, better URL.
